As many companies that are trading at compressed price levels may be deserving of their current valuation, it is the role of the Cambiar investment team to determine if the issues hampering the company are transitory in nature, or of a more terminal variety.

Our analysts have broad leeway to perform their industry and company research; typical components of the research process include attending industry conferences and trade shows, as well as conducting onsite company visits and site tours. Analysts regularly meet with top management teams from around the world, and seek to develop relevant contacts and information sources both inside and outside the public equity domains. Ultimately, the strength of our research is borne in the ability to recognize opportunities before they become readily apparent to our peers, and the skill to identify the handful of companies whose current stock price sits meaningfully below its potential under more normalized company and market circumstances.
