FAQ

General:::

1. What investment style does Cambiar adhere to?

Cambiar applies a disciplined, relative-value philosophy to investing and focuses attention to individual companies that meet the firm’s investment criteria.  Portfolios typically consist of undervalued securities with strong financial and business characteristics.  We select quality companies that are attractively priced, that demonstrate positive developments not yet recognized by the market and that offer significant appreciation potential within a 12 to 18 month time horizon.

2. What is active share?

Active Share is a measure of the percentage of stock holdings in a manager's portfolio that differ from the benchmark index.  Active Share is also useful in identifying "closet indexers", or managers who claim to be active but whose portfolios are very similar to the benchmark portfolio.
